Solus's comment about Ted Lake in the POD forum got me looking for more detailed locations of pictographs. I like to see them, I wouldn't go OUT of my way to find them but would plan a route to see them if possible?

I found this resource. Maybe it's been posted before?  If you're really into seeing them this takes you right to them.
They don't have all of them but it looks like a work in progress.

I remember giving Bob a few suggestions on his early work.  I also seem to remember using an early edition (could have even been a draft) of his information about the pictographs in the Cache Bay area.  I used it on a trip into the Falls Chain and sent him feedback on the usefulness of the material to find those pictos.

BTW:  The pictos on Ted are pretty easy to locate .. just head for the large stone wall on the south end of the lake (its huge, you can't miss it).  Shouldn't be to hard to find when you are in the area.

I believe the Quetico put out a pamphlet on most of the pictographs.  That was some years ago but maybe they still have it in print.  They also have a similar publication which discusses the origin of many of the lake names.  Smiley
