I really like today's shot.  I especially like shots that make the water look like liquid metal.

Regarding today's POD.  I had never heard of a "birds-foot trefoil" before and I didn't notice it when we were there.  The young eyes (Anna is 16) seem to pick up on things that some of us miss.  I guess that is a good reason to take a kid to the canoe country--fresh eyes for all of the beautiful sights!   Smiley

Caption wasn't correct yesterday--THIS is "Loon Foot".  For some reason this photo just tickled Anna's fancy a lot!

Hard to get any scale on it, but looks too small for a beaver...thinking some kind of water bug, by the tight, erratic turns...or perhaps the dorsal fin of a hunting, immature great white walleye shark.

Today's photo - leech sprouts!  Harvest before they turn black and slimy, immediately immerse in water.
