Your reflection POD is right up there with the best of the ones I've seen posted here.  Cool

  It passed the "flip" test with high marks.
Most of the other pics like this were at a greater distance too.
 
  One of my favorite scenery pics no matter what time of day.

Yeah.  Every once in a while a person gets treated to some of nature's best.  It always beautiful out there but some times it seems that nature is just showing off!

If the conditions are right and I'm doing a lot of portages I just find it easier to leave the packs in an upright position.....easier to lift in and out.  The picture doesn't do this dam justice as it was a pretty good drop from top to bottom....at least I was going the right way....downhill!  I usually don't take anything out of the boat on pullovers like this.

I didn't think you traveled with your packs that way.
I see alot of people doing it but they're always tandem tripping.

Solo, anything that causes a drag is your enemy.
I won't even haul a fish on a stringer, I'll stop and clean it and put in my DIY cooler bag.
