Nope.  This is the campsite in 2010 on Sarah coming from Side and at the end of the narrows on the SE portion of Sarah....this is the same site where in 2019 some unnamed nefarious character caused that screw to come loose on TomT's maiden voyage with his new Sawyer canoe....the mystery remains unsolved to this day....   Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin

It looks like THAT site as well. If you are author of this photo then I guess you are right Smiley Great shot! I'd like to be there as well (not right now but later this summer). Cool

Actually, HnD, now that you mention it, I've also stayed at that fine island site on Jesse.....lost all my photos from that year unfortunately.  So, today's POD must be Sarah, or at least that's my stories and I'm sticking to 'em....  Cheesy Cheesy

Ahh, yes.....I can picture Jimbo's hammock at the top of the hill, the crackle of pine cones warming the water in a Kelty Kettle and the sound of miscreant metal bits lazily rolling around some epoxy impregnated Kevlar.....

pd

MUCH better POD today pk!

I think those "miscreant metal bits lazily rolling around" were probably the reason TomT woke up bleary eyed after a night of fitful dreams....   Wink Grin

Bastards..... All of ya!!  (on that trip)  Grin

It's also where my 15-20 year old Whisperlite stove bit the dust.  Magic Paddler saved my butt and I did his dishes in exchange to use his stove.  I think it was a "win, win" for both of us.  Cool

Huh.  Go with me here....if your stove went out before Sarah, then the screw came from your stove and MP had it on Sarah....if it occurred during or after Sarah, then MP took the screw from your stove, felt guilty for placing it in your canoe , seeing your distress, and fixing your stove on Sarah.....or he never felt guilty and he's a mean SOB!!....   💥💥 Grin Grin

"Screws" aren't ALL these guys have "loose."

I seem to recall an errant bottle of "stool softener" circulating amongst them.  It would pop up at the most unexpected moments in their canoes, their packs, etc., over a period of YEARS.  I'm just saying, it might be wise not to stand between them and the thunderbox in the morning (if travelling the BWCA).

Jimbo   Cool
