	Jillpine, My guess is if you did a "Search" on QJ you'd find my MANY posts on the virtues of a Clark Jungle Hammock. Yes, I think they're great! Get them while you can because, as I understand it, the old man has decided to go out of business. Several features warrant special mention: 1) great visibility/head space under the net, 2) the six generous pockets underneath are excellent for storing/organizing your clothes & thereby creating "insulation", 3) the hammock is extremely well-made = great materials, excellent zippers, etc.. I'm not sure how I might be happier with the hammock except, I suppose, if it slept a little "flatter." It's a banana-style shelter, which has its pluses & minuses. Anyway, yes, I'm a big fan of Clark Jungle Hammocks. This is my second one. I sold my first to another QJ'er years ago & I'm betting it is STILL in action. Certainly feel free to PM me with questions about particulars. They're a bit "pricey" but, IMHO, they're worth it! Jimbo

Yup, dry socks do feel good at the end of the day. I add that deodorant foot trick whenever I put on socks in conditions where I sweat a lot or my feet are going to get wet. If you've ever been in the military and had to train/march a lot you know how important it is to keep your feet in good shape.

As a wet footer myself I know this smile you have going here. After a 5-7 hour day of travel you pull into a site and the first thing I do, unless there's threatening weather, is pull out the camp shoes and a pair of dry socks. It makes setting up camp so much gooder.

	Today's POD is all about walleye fishing out in front of Split Rock Falls. MPeebles was doing most of the "catching," however. The bite was all on the tiniest of lures... and Mike had their ticket! MagicPaddler might have caught a few but they wanted very of what I was offering. I seem to recall we were fishing in 25 feet of water. Seemed "deep" for late May fishing. Jimbo
