Do I detect a "Little Man in a Boat" likeness in your photo?

OK, OK...…...my standard apologies.

Funny you should ask.  I go up early in the spring and plant the roses.  Then when I go up again in August they are ready to harvest.  The hard part was carrying the bed in on top the canoe.  Because it was so hard, the last time I went I captured and broke a bull moose and taught it to  carry the bed in for me.  Additionally his antlers came in handy to tie my cooler on.  A couple of cases of cold beer and a few gallons of ice cream taste mighty good when it's 115 degrees in the shade.   The other good thing about a tame moose is that he could pull the canoe around the lake for me while I was trolling for walleyes.  The best thing is when I didn't need him anymore..... he was delicious  Smiley   And you guys thought those pics I posted were "fish" fries......nay, nay!    Wink

We were probably the first group through into Veron last year, it being only May.  Yeah, it was pretty chilly!

I targeted that site in 2017 and never made it that far.  It looks to be exposed being high off the water.  Is there a protected area for the sitting area and tents?
