According to my trip report, I was staying on the East side of Birch Island on Argo lake when that pic was taken?

I don't have a GPS function on my little point and shoot camera. My next camera might have it but that feature eats battery power so I might not want to use it depending on how much it drains the battery?

Hmmm... suspiciously close to where Solus puts the pic.  Coincidence?

I came into Argo via the Roland Lk chain. I'm thinking that pic might be from the area where Roland/River empties into Argo?

Solus is right though, that does look like HURN from what I remember. Another in the long list of lakes I would like to camp-on someday.

Today's picture is snapped at the "message jar" site on Ted.

I didn't know there was a "message jar" site on Ted?
I'll have to remember that if I get back there again.

POD is from my campsite on Birch Island, Argo Lk.
That was a really nice site but to big for a solo paddler normally. I only stayed there because it was early in the season a no groups were around.

I think there might be a flaw in your camera dates or journal dates.

Located some shots from the Ted site (last time I stayed there was 06)

More of the Ted Tree

You can match the land form of the far shore with that in silhouette in the POD- though the angle is different, you're standing more towards the fire pit to take the POD photo.

That's some pretty persuasive evidence, Solus.

I know that sometimes the "location tags" that my camera or phone has put on my pics has definitely been inaccurate... "ballpark" at best.

Could be that is what is going on.
