We immediately said "Rebecca Falls" when we saw it.

Yes,  Yesterday and today shows both sides of Rebecca Falls.  Years ago when I first  saw these split runs,  I promised myself I would stay there overnight sometime.   Took me another 20 years or so.  That was our last camp of low challenge 2019 Fall trip.

I remember when we finally got to Rebecca Falls (Spartan1 had been talking about it as a cool destination), I was a little bit disappointed.  It is unique, and beautiful, but wasn't really my idea of a waterfall somehow.  I guess spillway is the term that comes to mind actually.

I love waterfalls, and I loved Rebecca, too.  But not really what I was expecting.

Not a typical Quetico campsite.  In fact, this must be in the BWCA somewhere. The subtle clues include: bright yellow flora and the well-used, somewhat improved portage path. Probably closer to the southern border of the park than the North side.

That's my best guess, anyhow.  I have never professed to be an authority on the BWCA.

I submitted a few pics to db  some weeks ago and explained to him that one was not typical and feel free to not post it.  The only reason I included it was because we were all wallowing in some dark times here at QJ and I thought this might break the Mood of the Month.

We plant about 8000 every year along our rural county road. The neighbors and birds both seem to appreciate it.  The POD only shows about half of the row.
