I love today's POD!
I can see myself sitting there in the early morning sun or at sundown with a nice cup of Irish Coffee and maybe some mellow tunes playing in the background.

ST,

Hey, maybe you could prevail upon Phantom Jug for an early Christmas present... a recording of his performance of "Amazing Grace" on the bagpipes.

As you probably know, he IS the real deal; a superb piper! Such a recording could be the way to go!

Later,

Jimbo  Cool

Politics aside, I would pay good money to get both PJ and AG Barr on the pipes together.  Wink Cool Cool

I don't put the kilt on for less than $300 these days and mileage is $25 per windshield hour.  But, if you're interested, this is me and my church pianist a few years back. (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

I wondered how you guys would react to that fancy chair.  It is on East Bearskin Lake, just a little bit out of the BWCA.  It caught my eye immediately and I was imagining sitting there with my "first-light" hot chocolate.  No tunes, though (I am a silence junkie.)  Cool

(note the quality of that website  Wink)

Every time I hear the Pipes played it raises the hair on my neck and more often than not puts a tear in my eye.  Cry

IF I could have my idea of a perfect funeral, it would be a combination Viking funeral where they set me out in the water on a longboat and send flaming arrows to ignite my funeral pyre.

At the same time, a rousing song on the Pipes playing in the background.

Maybe some NUBILE wenches dancing too.  Wink Grin Grin

If you're going to imagine impossible scenarios you might as well go all out. Huh Shocked Grin Grin

Ah!  Planning on touring a sugar cane plantation in Hawaii (after quarantining), are you?
