I'm relieved.  I would think due diligence during a pandemic is more than appropriate.  Good job DD!

Hey, mpeebles,

Just in case you were concerned, DD was able to determine that Wally13 did NOT have a fever that day.  Just a simple Covid precaution in what was still a very early stage in the pandemic....

I did, however, detect that he was a quart low. 😁

DD,

You may recall that was precisely the "excuse" he used a little later during Happy Hour at the Voyagaire Lodge.

Great smiles in today's POD regardless of whether you guys started Happy Hour early....my guess is you didn't because you were likely empty of refreshments by then....

Happy Hour = any hour that makes you happy. Cool Especially if you're medicating from tough portage or possibly a hammock failure.

Hmmm.  I seem to remember the Happy "Hour" beginning a wee bit earlier.  I do have the distinct recollection of buying a couple of rounds before we ever got to the Voyagaire at another fine establishment, somewhat distant, facing out onto a lake.  It was a fine nectar indeed of which we all partook as we sat slaking our thirst and cast an eye on waters yet to be paddled.  Aye, ladie.  The adventure lies just beyond the horizon with the approach of the 'morrow's rising sun!

My pleasure.  There's a few pics coming that aren't canoeing related but reflect (pun intended) some things we did this year while adapting to the pandemic.  Me thinks 2021 will be a bit different!

Stay well..........
