	Personally, I think a photo of a couple having a happy time in the outdoors is always fun to see. Even if they aren't canoeing!

	They say that long time couples start to look like each other? I think that's true BUT you still have a ways to go to catch-up to your BETTER looking half!

	Stu......funny thing. I'm rigging up my bike and it's starting to look somewhat like my canoe rigging albeit without a rod holder. Boy ain't right .

	Todays POD is of my wife and future portage monkey walking down the driveway at our land this fall. This area is part of an old quarry that I cleaned up and re-purposed. There are rows of white pine and white spruce planted where he's walking. Food plot for the critters on the right.....(the only thing the deer don't get on the property is vet care). Growin' trees is like growin' corn....just takes a little longer . I got to show him much taller trees that his mother planted as a young girl. I'll be showing him how to plant some this spring

	I smiled when I saw the photo. So typical of a child and an adult walking--the adult takes the "easy" way (good footing, clear pathway) and the child enjoys the challenge of wading through the vegetation. When I was a child I couldn't avoid mud puddles--actually would go out of my way to stomp in them--and it drove my mother and grandmother nuts!

	Ha ha! I'm teaching him about walking sticks....grab one then improve as you walk until you find a better one. Then repeat the process. I took him for a "listening" hike last year where we sat and listened to what we heard and I tried to id the various sounds. It's a stitch!
