	Solus....I know a guy whose family has a small tract of land in Central Wi and they've managed it for generations for mature white pine. They hire folks who use horses to remove logs as well. I've toured the property a few times but never witnessed the logging/ hauling operation.

	Today's POD story. I was sitting in a tree stand facing east during archery season. When I got up and looked to the west I was awestruck at the beautiful sunset. Had to stand there and watch it for a bit.

	Well, folks, as you can see, we were on our way back to camp from a morning of fishing and realized my teens had gotten a bit overly enthusiastic at the firepit. Just kidding!! On our way up the Gunflint Trail with my crew of 3 teens, we observed numerous firefighting crews. This shot of the Cavity Lake fire was taken from Seagull Outfitters on June 16, 2006. Needless to say our route was diverted from Ogish to eastern Saganaga....good trip despite occasional smoke and haze....
