I have never added a pole to a post and now is a good time to try. Lets see how this goes.
As measured by hospital admissions both peak and total admitted how bad is Covid-19 compared to normal seasonal influenza.
That was a hard poll to vote on because Covid-19 seems to be more infectious but the death rate isn't so far as bad as predicted?
I think the number that really counts is death by percentage of people infected which won't be known for a long time.
According to CNN, the 2017-2018 flu season killed 80,000 people in the US with 900,000 hospitalized.
CDC of April 15 says: Total cases: 605,390
Total deaths: 24,582
It doesn't say how many required hospitalization?
I'm sure IF were following social distancing guidelines and being fanatical about hand washing the flu infection and death rate would be much smaller too.
The Wuhan Virus has a long way to go to reach the same death numbers as the 2017-2018 flue season.
One thing for sure, whether it does or not, the damage to our country has been incalculable and I hope out leaders when the time is right makes the people who set this all in motion pay a steep price for it.
That is going to weigh heavily on how many people vote come November. The Chinese COMMUNISTS are NOT nice folks, folks
