I like these narrow waterway shots.
Always looking for moose and other critters and trying not to hit something at the same time.  Wink Grin

Thx for the kind words.  The iris photo was taken at the put-in from Metecryst into the unnamed pond.  The creek shot today is Cutty Creek leading into Cub from Baird.....a great quiet area of Quetico....

I love that Baird to Cub bit of creek. From the paddle down the narrow, island choked end of Baird, the short steep down hill carry  and then the forest channeled creek. About as good as it gets.

Ditto.  It's just a gorgeous area of the park.  That short steep portage can be a bit tough when muddy and if heading west-to-east.

Then, of course, if headed INTO Baird, it's haunted, so there's that....

Baird is just plain spooky.  At dusk if it's calm and quiet, you can hear the murmurs of the poltergeist that inhabit this area of Quetico....   Shocked Wink

PK,

Today's POD... message cache?

Possibly the one on Delahey (though I'm thinking the one there was of a different color)?

Ah!  Today's POD seems to confirm my contention regarding the location of yesterday's pic.  It seems the cache was red, after all.

PK, I suspect you visited the site BEFORE MagicPaddler & me.  Otherwise, you could hardly have missed the message that WE squeezed into that jammed container.  They definitely need an additional cache there.

db,

Just a tad "pricey" at $566, wouldn't you say?

Would expect a living plant aquarium with 90% of the species list in the book with that kind of price tag....

Jimbo   Cool

P.S.  Make that an autographed aquarium.
