It still blows me a way that today's POD is from over 40 years ago and I remember those first two trips so well. I love solo trips and all but it was the lucky mix of characters in that special place that made those trips way more memorable than most.

Where was today's POD taken?
Looks like the one on Jean Crk traveling down stream to Sturgeon Lk.

Love the black and white shot.  I believe we've seen this one before as well and my mind goes immediately to Ansel Adams.

Rain is rain and after awhile everything smells of smoke as you try to dry stuff out....those are the days I start to yearn for a hot shower....and a hot, greasy plate of french fries....
