	Nice POD today. You don't see many deer in the Q, at least not as many as you might think you would see. I talked to Quetico Dave recently. He hunts and said there were more moose than ever but he hasn't seen but a handful of deer.

	I'm glad to see somebody else still hauls REAL potatoes into the Northwoods! Nice choice for a Thanksgiving Day POD, db! Just now, though, I find myself longing for a feast of walleye. Not many of those to be had down here in gator swamp land. I'm more thankful than ever before for so many memorable canoe trips and shared campfires. Have a happy holiday, all! Jimbo

	There is something about waterfalls that draws you to them. The raw power and majesty do it for me.

Northwoods' waterfalls capture your imagination which, as you say, "draws you to them." Personally, I find this is especially true, now, as I am nowhere near them. One of my favorite quotes: "You cannot hear the waterfall if you stand next to it. I paint my jungles in the desert." Unknown I can paint some pretty good future canoe trip adventure/reports, including waterfalls, in my head these days. Can hardly wait to put a plan together getting me up there in 2022!
