According to the second article, people were supposed to spend part of today heading to their "local park to look for their favorite types of squirrels..."

Well, my time to frolic with these little vermin was very short since I don't have any "favorite types"....I despise them all equally....   Cheesy Cheesy

I had no idea January 21st was "Squirrel Appreciation Day".

At our house it is "Kidney Transplant Anniversary Day".   Neil's donor called to thank us for the annual fruit basket we always have delivered to her home, and we had a nice talk.  We shared a glass of bubbly.

13 years.  Truly the "gift of life".

I can vouch for the Buttermilk Fried Squirrel!

For the squirrel hating folks, might as well get PAID to get rid of them Wink Grin

Mepps Lures BUYS select tails. They want ones that were killed and eaten BUT it doesn't specify it has to be a HUMAN that eats them. Bake them up and give them to your dog/cat, I'm sure they would enjoy the treat. Full of good protein, little fat, and ZERO chemical additives!

Today's POD shows a pair of truly authentic looking pike floating lures.  Anybody know the brand new?

Cute pic of the loon chicks today Linda - thx for sharing.

I must admit when I first opened the POD, my initial thought was 'those are some pretty dang homely looking squirrels!!!'   Grin Grin Grin
