I'm guessing there would be a nice little Honey Hole where the waterfall enters the lake!
I've never found where that wasn't true.
I have all the streams that enter lakes on my route marked in red. In spring with the run-off there is always fish waiting for a easy meal.

Today's POD is a nice sunset shot on one of my favorite lake trout lakes.  Sadly, I think the place probably burned over since this pic was taken. The west side of Wrist Lake had already burned pretty badly a year or so before we went through (almost a decade back, now). I have my doubts the lake will be fit for "scenic" camping anytime soon.

On the other hand, there could be a lot of hungry lake trout lurking around, scenic or not!

I really like today's POD  Smiley
Whoever made it had some mason skills.
That Wedge stone on top is the give-a-way.

I kinda expect finding the keystone may have been the impetus.

It was there for a few years at least. Wonder if it's still standing.

I think most people wouldn't see a triangle/wedge stone stone for what it can be used for.

Someone with mason skills or in the bldg trades would.
