	I find myself wondering what year Ben took the pic in today's POD. My understanding was that the big fire ravaged the area a few years ago. When we went through, prior to the big fire, the far west side of Wrist Lake had already burned a short time earlier. There was a LOT of charred timber on the ground and we were quite concerned that another party of QJ paddlers, scheduled to meet up with us on Wrist and heading to us from that direction, would not be able to get through the mass of jumbled, burned, gigantic match sticks. Well, they DID somehow get through that mess, though a sorrier-looking bunch of exhausted sooty paddlers I had never seen before. Anyway, can anyone tell me what the status of Wrist Lake is these days? DID it burn over completely? I suspect Ben's pic is pre-burn..... Jimbo
