Those feet look painful. I learned in the Army how important it is to take care of your feet.

I don't know if that was caused by ill-fitting shoes/boot or sandals?

I'm guessing sandals. I see people wearing sandals or even worse flip-flops and I cringe. A accident waiting to happen.

Thank God for duct-tape!  Wink Cry Grin

I seriously doubt only a handful of folks would notice any humor in that statement.  Kiss

If dragging a canoe thru a mud-hole instead of paddling it is enjoyable to you, then I guess you wouldn't find my comment funny.  Roll Eyes Grin

No one poses very long for a picture in boot sucking mud.

Today's POD pose? Imagine Sisyphus being happy. Yet we all know that pose.

I know it but long ago learned there is a better way unless you have someone helping you.
I put my pack on the bow of canoe, big rock/log and turn around and put one arm thru then let the pack fall on my BACK  Wink.

Much easier on the back/arms and much less chance of pulling a muscle.

Sad to see it go.

Agreed.  I never held a pack like that.  Never wore sandals or shorts either.  Different strokes. . .
