In late July, '98 we camped on a north facing shore of McIntyre Lake in Quetico. That night, the lights completely filled the sky, shooting way up into the Big Dipper. The display was long, very slow moving curtains of green that could be seen completely across the horizon for about four hours. It was a sight I will never forget. It was so strong that it even made the front page of the Duluth newspaper the next day. Awesome!!
