re' DEET and Barbless Fishing

Tom - pliers and crimping, then maybe a hook stone to take off sharp edges. Probably don't need to worry about sharp edges, but I'm picky (I guess).

No, I don't notice any more lost fish using barbless hooks. I only lose fish when Rockhead is in the boat or beside my on shore.
I use #1 or #1-0 hooks in my 4" lizards and worms;
#1-0 or 2-0 in bigger plastics. I tried Kahle style hooks in tube jigs last year but never got bit on a tube, so can't say if Kahle's work better than regular worm hooks for Texas rigged tubes.
