First, I must say that I'm impressed with the quality and tone of the posts I've read on this board. This to me is technology and the net in its better form. Thank you all... Now, off the soapbox and onto my appeal for some suggestions and thoughts. I've been going up to the BWCA for 10 years or so and have been through various entry points. Last year, I did a trip during the week of Memorial Day through Sawbill and thought that I'd do a trip later in the summer or early fall through a different entry. The second trip did not happen because I read about the wind storm and saw images of it and figured if I'm in any of the affected areas one of the area's draw for me was significantly diminished. I instead went up to Canada for some wilderness camping and fishing up there. I'm considering another trip during the week of Memorial Day this year for wilderness camping and fishing. Any suggestions? I've not gone in through the Canadian side for Quetico yet, maybe this is the year I try that. I'm probably like most people here. I appreciate all the rocks and trees in their natural state and the wallies and smallies making me go, wooohoooo!!!
