Re: Change of Pace

TOM

I AM NOT INTO TRAVELING EVERYDAY AND SETTING UP CAMP. MY GROUP OF GUYS GO TO THE SAME PLACE EACH YEAR AND BASE CAMP. WE TAKE DAY TRIPS ONCE AND A WHILE. WE GO THRU SILVER FALLS PORTAGE AND CAMP ON AN ISLAND WHERE SAGANAGONS LAKE OPENS UP INTO A LARGE LAKE. WE KNOW THIS AREA WELL NOW AND CAN CATCH WALLEYES EVERYDAY. I LIKE TO RELAX AND ENJOY THE SURROUNDINGS, KNOWING THAT I WILL BE EATING WALLEYE FOR DINNER ALONG WITH FRIED potatoes.( DID I SPELL THAT RIGHT, I'AM A HOOSIER AND I LIVE NEAR HUNTINGTON, IN.) I KNOW WE HAVE NOT SEEN MUCH OF THE QUETICO, BUT THIS IS WHAT WE ENJOY DOING.

THANKS TO ALL THE REGULARS THAT ADD TO THIS SITE. I ENJOY HEARING ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCES IN THE BWCA. SKIP GUYER I'AM SORRY TO HEAR THAT YOU DIDN'T GET TO TAKE A TRIP TO THE BWCA THIS YEAR. I KNOW YOUR FRIENDS MISSED HAVING YOU ON THIS YEARS TRIP. POOR ROCKHEAD WHAT DID HE DO WITHOUT HIS FEARLESS LEADER TO KEEP HIM FROM GETTING LOST AND PUTTING HIS END OF THE CANOE IN THE RIGHT SPOT TO CATCH FISH. THANKS ROCKHEAD AND SKIP FOR YOUR POSTS TO THIS SITE. I LOOK FORWARD TO READING YOUR POSTS.
