Re: Where do we go?

Greg,

We go to the same lake and camp site almost every year. I have been to four other areas but they didn't compare with our base camp in the Saganagons. When you know the area well, you can catch fish regularly. You know most of the fishing holes and you have time to relax, really relax. We don't take enough food not to count on catching fish for dinner. We take two boxes of Rice-a-Roni and two boxes of Mac and Cheese to hold us over in case of bad weather. We do day trip to different areas near our base camp. This year we are day tripping to Lillypad and Jasper Lakes. Before we can do this we must have fish for supper in our live well. I am thinking a little cazy. I have this desire to canoe the Quetico from north to south. I have been looking at starting on French lake to Baptisim, Trousers, Cache, Lindsey, McKenzie, Falls Chain out thru Silver Falls. If anyone knows about these portages please let me know. I have set a a five year time frame to accomplish this trip. After that time I will be to old, I think, to make this trip.

Greg, sorry to hear you will not be going this year!!!!
