Hello Dwight, I am Glad you enjoyed my bear encounter story I try to make it entertaining to all that would read it. I am going into Quetico this year with 7 buddies with out my gun. I will have instead my Marine Corp K-Bar Combat Knife and a Axe, if a bear comes into camp, I will take on the role of William Wallace the character Mel Gibson played in the movie motion picture "Brave Heart" I will put on my war face, jump up and down, and instead of screaming "freedom" I will scream "go away bear, I said go away, bear don't come any closer bear, I am warning you bear, I use to wrestle in high school, please bear this is you last warning, if this does not scare the bear away, then all I have to do is run quicker then my slowest buddie in my group.
