Well I can tell you one thing for sure. If you go to McIntyre Lake from Robinson Lake it is much easier to paddle back and portage thru Cecil, and Deer Lakes. I've done the McIntyre Creek portage a few years ago. Took about 4 hours to do it. Although that western bay on McIntyre is a beautiful place.
As to the fishing sorry I can't help you much. I've only fished Sarah Lake. I've caught a few pike on the north end. And some smallmouth in the channel.
As for campesites there are many nice one on Sarah Lake. The one in the west bay of McIytre Lake is nice. The one on the island on the north end of Robinson is a 5 STAR.
Most of the portages I've been on (Robinson, Sarah, McIntyre, and Tuck) are mostly easy. Only one that really stands out in my mind is that 24 rods Sarah to McIntyre.
