We all buy stuff strictly for use on our BW/Q trips. Some of the things we buy we are happy with, some we are not. Thinking about Sealline bags and camera cases reminded me of all the things (including dumb gadgets) I've purchased strictly for trips that either worked for me so I kept on using, or didn't, so I kept on looking.

Sealline bags have been mentioned, I'll add GoreTex socks. I spent way too much time, money and effort looking for a good "dry foot" solution until I finally found them.

Accordingly, on the things that didn't work end is the pair of Schnee boots I bought/returned... bought/returned... bought/returned. They did their best to make me happy but bottom line.. if the ad says water PROOF they should be. They are nice. They are just not water PROOF. As a credit to the company, the ads no longer say waterproof. Their thirteens if anyone is interested... Like new! They really are nice... 'n high, just not totally waterproof.

Out of all the the stuff you've purchased for use in the BW/Q, what's worked best for you? What hasn't?
