Canoejack - I salute you! Definitely one of the more interesting postings I've seen on QJ.... Had I proposed such a project, my wife would have likely told me to fill my virtual BWCA campsite with the rocks from my virual head. Nevertheless, I'm envious & inspired by your creativity... so much so that the time has finally come for me to approach MY spouse concerning the Quetico/BWCA wall mural I've always wanted in the basement Rec Room. I already have prints of voyageurs, Park photos, etc., on shelves & hanging everywhere. The right mural would tie it all together and, after I show her YOUR posting, MY project won't sound so nuts anymore. Hey, getting back to YOUR project, I'm willing to make a small contribution. I can see you're missing a very important element & effect for your virtual campsite... Minnesota mosquitoes! Despite recent frost, there's still plenty of the little buggers buzzing around up here. I'm certain I can capture enough for your purposes & ship them off South... (better there than here!). Just imagine those buzzing & slapping noises in concert with your loon songs!
