Portage Description:
Father's day weekend 99. The "standard" portage landing on the Pine River side was not usable - the river was too low and had a lot of downed trees in it. Continued along the trail the end. The put-in was just a boulder pile. Took 15 minutes just to get the canoe in the water - another 20 minutes for the packs - and another 20 minutes for my son & I.

Lake Description:
Nice lake with good fishing. Two nice campsites on the island in the middle of the lake.
