Portage Description:
This portage was not difficult but what was different about this portage was the "Giant White Cedars" in the first 100 or so rods. These were the largest that I have ever seen in the BWCA/Quetico. Some of these trees may have suffered from the July 4th 1999 windstorm according to the Boundary Waters Journal fall 2000 issue.
