Boundary Waters portages

Water Level: average
Length: 80 rods
Rating: difficult
Additional Perspectives:

Portage Description:
This barely used short portage starts wet and ends very wet. There is a beaver dam that has increased the water level in Western lake making the end of this portage "bog like".

Lake after portage: Western
Known campsites: 1
Lake Description:

This small 250 acre lake has Walleyes and perch in it. Only one campsite that that sits in a burned area. It seems like some campers let their fire get out of hand here. Very swampy to the N and W of the site. Needless to say the bugs couldn't be any worse here.
