2 portages with little Mudhole Lake in between. The south landing on Mudhole is a floating bog--fascinating but very tricky trying to get in or out. The north portage to Thunder is higher and drier.

Thunder is off the beaten path and has that feel to it--scenic, cliff-lined lake with good walleye and pike fishing.
