Portage Description:
In that year this portage was hard to find. We actually ended up portaging through the creaked (wrong) and found ourselves on the other side of Monument instead of in Ashdick-which stunk because we then needed to go back and find the real portage and do the muddy and difficult 155 that was our original intent. Be careful !

Didn't catch a lot in Ashdick - some small northerns, but a few decent largemouth which is always a treat in the BWCA. Campsite nearest portage was average.
