Portage Description:
This portage has 2 hills on it and it does feel longer than 220 but the trail is well maintained now. When we went through in 2001, a group from Charles l Sommer's canoe base was working on the trail to go around the swampy area in the middle.

The site farther from this portage is decent. The close one is on a big incline. There is good bass fishing here.
