Portage Description:
Wow... even the Iron Eagle Scouts with us proved to be a bit soft for this portage. Difficulty is solely based upon trail maintenance, or lack there of. A machete might be the best thing to have. A definite must do portage though.

Lake after portage: Jap
Known campsites: 2
Lake Description:

My favorite lake in all of the BWCA! It's remote, and the portage keeps away everyone but the diehard. Take a day to rest up before packing back out. Had my first date with a moose during the portage too.
