Portage Description:
The portage entrance at Ogishkemuncie is small allowing 3-4 canoes. The water level was high causing you to walk in water before you start a 100-150 ft incline to Mueller. The trail is narrow with protruding rocks that are slippery when wet. There is a nice view of Ogishkemuncie right before Mueller Lake. The entry point at Mueller is rocky with several shelves into the lake.
