Portage Description:
Easy to portage. Just a few rolling hills. Portaged from Beth out to Alton at 1pm on a Friday. Very busy. There were about 7 other groups using or waiting to use the portage.

Lake Description:
Beth is a clear rocky lake. We caught a single northern and a few smallmouths in about 3 hours of fishing. All the campsites were full by noon. With all the traffic you likely will not get a campsite on Beth unless you are early or lucky.
