Portage Description:
A long, tough portage, but definitely doable. There's a good-sized uphill section to start you off from Tuscarora. Once you pass Contest Lake things get a little easier. It's just a long way to walk, so pace yourself and take rests - there are several good spots to do so. The up-and-down sections and the footing weren't too bad.
