Portage Description:
The first 100 rods is nice and flat but quickly turned into a flooded woods and there the trail disappeared. Had to wade ankle deep south until a suitable route could be found up a rocky hill to the east to bypass thick flooded brush. Eventually found an opening into a beaver pond in Grassy and took it (over a dam, but worth it) to the portage to Mulligan. Really this portage is two combined into one.
Lake after portage: Grassy
Known campsites: None at all
Lake Description:
Grassy swamp favored by beavers.
