Portage Description:
Trail begins next to a nice little waterfall emptying into Cherry. The trail rises quickly after leaving Cherry on a fairly smooth tread. The trail then skirts a beaver pond and makes a sharp left turn that basically takes you you a creek bed. Difficult footing at best. The landing at Lunar Lake is at a beaver dam and quite soft. Did this portage in a driving rain on a day trip, traveling light. Portage length keeps this one from being a "Never Again".
