Portage Description:
This is the southernmost portage on Kahshahpiwi. With high water, it is actually two portages. As you are heading south, the trail will split. Bear to the right and you will put into a swampy beaver pond among some nasty rocks along a cliff wall. A short paddle in this swamp will take you to a short 4 rod hop over the Beaver dam. Rated difficult due to the two stage process.
