Portage Description:
The portage is on the left side of the rapids. The short carry is made interesting by the deep cracks in the rocks.

Lake Description:
The beginning of the narrows has shallow water and a medium current, and is a good place to fish. When you get to the larger part of Bud you'll notice a few islands have burned in the last few years.
