Portage Description:
This portage from a southeastern bay of That Man into an unnamed lake (the ranger dubbed it 'High Man') is the first of two which make a shortcut into Emerald Lake. It is almost entirely uphill and quite rocky, with an especially steep stretch at the beginning.

Lake Description:
This unnamed lake was dubbed 'High Man' by the ranger - for obvious reasons. It does not appear to be well traveled, and had no visible campsites. It was quite shallow in the southern portion.
