Portage Description:
This portage is also known as "Racers Portage". It consists of two hikes of around 700 rods. And, one of approx. 50 rods. If you are going out Nym and find yourself on Pickerel Lake, you might choose this option instead of going through the narrows to Batch. I've done it several times.

Lake Description:
When you get to Nym lake you will weave your way through a series of islands on your way to the big water. Nym lake can really build up a chop in windy weather.
