Portage Description:
This portage is so easy and short you can leave your equipment in your canoe(if there are two of you). The Soho side is sand beach but the smudge side is tricky. If you are looking for Walleye, you've found them.

Lake Description:
Smudge lake has a dark brown look to the water but it's the rocks and bottom that give it this look because the water is crystal clear.
