Portage Description:
This portage definitely wasnít average, but I wouldnít rate it difficult either, but since it was closer to difficult, I rated it that way. It is a long portage, but other than that not too bad. The only problems on the portage were a stretch of waist deep mud and a slick, steep rock to walk down. Some members of the trip saw a couple of deer down in the marsh about half way through the portage. Thereís a nice view from the top of the cliff. I was excited to do this portage, and it was a good portage, but not as tough as I had expected.

Lake Description:
Yum yum is a pretty lake, and the water tastes yummy ... it's very clear water, not tannic like a few of the other lakes I was on during the trip. I wish I had had time to fish it, it looked like a good fishing lake.
