Portage Description:
What this portage lacks in length it makes up in difficulty. It is very rocky and wet. The trail is narrow and it is difficult to manuver a canoe. At one point you are on a rocky narrow ledge 15 feet above the rapids and rocks below. The portage is worth it because Dumas is a wonderful little lake.
