Portage Description:
The portage is to the left as you paddle down the creek leading out of Rod. In low water and can be difficult to find a good landing spot to unload the canoe.

Lake Description:
Edge is more of a large creek than a lake. It has a slight current. Edge has a nice shore line that rises above the lake.
