Portage Description:
Up a small hill then down rock face, across marshy area. We found blown down trees blocking trail. The trail is not often used. We may have been first of the season (mid July). Cut through most when scouting trail evening before. Long portage, pretty trail, mostly level, watch for moose we saw several.

Lake Description:
Pretty lake, saw moose and calf swimming across. Bends around to the right to trail into unnamed lake. Good route to North Bay via Dell Lake
